Hey folks, how many of you heard of Daniel the beagle? Please read his story here:
http://abcnews.go.com/US/miracle-dog-daniel-beagle-adoption-surviving-gas-chamber/story?id=14841165
Daniel was a stray dog who was sentenced to death in a gas chamber. (In some places this is a common method of mass execution for stray animals.) He was placed in the gas chamber with 18 other dogs, and they were all gassed. When the animal control agent came back to clean up the bodies, he opened the door to the chamber to find the dogs dead as he expected, all except for Daniel, who was at the door wagging his tail.
Because of the miracle of Daniel’s survival, he was pulled from that pound and placed in a rescue. He was adopted, and has a great home now. But, rather than just enjoy life, Daniel and his new family are working to abolish gas chamber deaths for stray animals as a cruel form of euthanasia. “Daniel’s Law” is going to prevent pounds from gassing anymore animals.
If you would be so kind as to please go to this link and vote for Daniel to win in his category of the Hero Dog Awards, I’d be much obliged, and so would the animals: http://bit.ly/VoteDaniel
It literally takes like 15 seconds and you won’t get any annoying emails from anyone. Also, tune in and watch the Hero Dog Awards live on TV when they air!
Thanks!
